Kristen Stewart Co-Star Gets Animated in Rio

I had concerns about the voice acting of Jesse Eisenberg for the animated film Rio. I was worried that his usually subdued manner and style would not be effervescent enough to have the energy required for cartoons.
Thankfully, Jesse Eisenberg was directed well and he was just perfect for the role of Blu, a nerdy Brazilian macaw who cannot fly. Furthermore, I realized that his vocal quality is quite distinct that it can become a trademark of sorts.
Jesse Eisenberg was also served very well by a great script that saw the growth of his character, and had the audiences rooting for him to save the girl, macaw that is, and well, the day.

Well, hm. After I saw THE SOCIAL NETWORK (my first Eisenberg movie), I wanted to wring his throat.
Er, Mark Uckerberg. And I wanted to delete my FB account straightaway. Gah! I mean really, what a turd…
But I love birds. I love macaws. (I love Sam, the Froot Loop birdy with the rainbow nose.)
So I listened. And I realized…Jesse’s mom must be so proud.

Oh yes, The Social Network is definitely a must-see. Eisenberg rocked that role. And now I must see all the rest of his movies…
