Kristen Stewart Chops Hair for The Runaways

Kristen Stewart fully plunges into the role of Joan Jett in the biopic The Runaways by cutting off her hair and dyeing it jet black just like the character she is about to play.

It seems The Twilight Saga star will be wearing a wig as she reprises her role as Bella Swan when she resumes shooting for the third installment in August 2009.

My Reaction I absolutely love the short jet black hair of Kristen Stewart! Aside from highlighting her fair skin and fine features, it also shows her full commitment to playing the role of Joan Jett in The Runaways.

It’s not bad at all but I prefer long hair on her. I guess I’ve gotten used to her with long hair playing Bella. The only time I remember her with short hair was when she was little in that movie Panic Room.

eclipse is starting in august right????because if it true maybe kristen hair is long again!!but not long like in new moon film and lorna i guess you are right maybe in eclipse kristen wearing a wig!!but i onestly i dont like it!!>-_<go robsten!!

well, there is a lot of hair grow right now and she can have other alternative like britney spears what she did to her hair (is that what you call extention hair?)but still she looks pretty and sexy, hope robert doesnt mind that she cut her hair.

I think, with short black hair, kristen looks like a mommy (ok, i let my mind run wildly) heehee! Yeah the first time i saw her with short hair when she was in panic room… And it’s blonde

Gosh, she looks goooooood in every hair color and style!! I like girls with black hair since i’m asian LOL.. I think she will have an extension instead of wig for Eclipse..

she looks absolutely great in every hair lenght and colour. She looks really sexy with black short hair! ;] haha! it sort of gives her a new style to her. but i like her in anyway. and for the bella part i think it she will have hair extentions, just like afterglow18 said.

I don’t think Robert will mind, he cut his hair a while before New Moon and it still grew back! He loves her no matter what she looks like!

It would be nice if some one gets the nerve to ask Rob (during one his future interviews) about his reaction on KStew’s short hair? I can’t wait for his answer. Hey Lorna…hey everybody…
1. KS-JJ. She really looks like Joan Jett. Can’t wait for The Runaways. You know, practically almost all Twilight cast plays music (dunno with Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene). I think they should just jam and make their own Twilight Saga OST, shudn’t they?
2. Hair. She looks good in almost all kind of hair, from the shortest (Safety of Objects) to the longest (The Cake Eaters), blonde, auburn, reddish, brown, name it.
3. Extension. Like in the Bauer-Griffin photoshoot. See the during vs timebreak photoshoot. I think that works pretty fine.
Btw, I do think Bella’s hair in NM a lil tinsy bit unnatural, dunno why. I really like her hair, very particularly meadow scen where she swung her head side to side try to look for Edward–who was demonstrating his superhuman abilities.
5. Rob’s comment. “Ow, I was there when she cut her hair, I keep it. I collect hairs, especially her hair. I still have my PolyJuice Potion ingredients. So, you know…” *suggestive wink & smug grin*

I can’t believe I haven’t seen her with the new do yet. She looks great. I didn’t think she could rock the shorter cut but she can.
Now I think she should go shorter.

i hate this hairstyle it looks terrible and guys hair grows faster but if it helps her get into the role im all for it
