Kristen Stewart Cast as Bella with Help from Into the Wild Co-Star

If Kristen Stewart can partially take credit for casting Robert Pattinson, then Kristen’s Into the Wild co-star, Emile Hirsch, can take credit as well for bringing up her name to Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke while she was casting for the soon to be blockbuster film.

When Kristen Stewart was interviewed by Hollywood Access, she was asked to clarify regarding the casting process, “Is it true that Emile Hirsch recommended you for this role?”

Kristen immediately agrees, “Apparently, yeah!”

She was then asked, “When did you first hear about that?”

“Catherine said something at the audition. She just said, you know… It’s weird. We’re a very, like, incestuous group. We all knew each other through other people. ‘Emile said something…’ I don’t know how it went down exactly, but, I think they talked about it.” (go to 2:24)

Catherine Hardwicke directed Emile Hirsch in the film Lords of Dogtown; and, subsequently, Emile worked with Kristen in the Sean Penn directed film Into the Wild, leading Kristen to jokingly refer to the interrelated relationships within the indie film industry as “incestuous.”

Eclipse Movie Release Date: June 30, 2010

    in Eclipse

200902202153.jpg Nikki Finke is exclusively reporting the release date for the Eclipse movie–and it’s only a matter of months after New Moon!:

EXCLUSIVE: I’ve confirmed there’s no director hired yet. And the two productions won’t be back-to-back. But that hasn’t stopped Summit Entertainment from newly scheduling its Twilight threequel for release on June 30, 2010, not long after its Twilight sequel New Moon set for November 20th this year now being helmed by Chris Weitz. Summit also officially changed the name of its vampire movie franchise based on Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling series of novels to The Twilight Saga. Here’s how Summit descibes the plot of the threequel Eclipse:

“As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death.”

I love the movie and the books most of all.. and I’m in love with the love between Edward and Bella… but truthfully.. I wish they would have a cast a cuter Edward (no offense Rob) Rob’s acting is perfect for Edward… just the face doesn’t match.. Edward’s gorgeous to say the least.. but Rob’s just decent… too bad there isn’t a way to put Rob’s skill with a better face.. and also… Kristen’s perfect for the role.. the make up she wears outside the movie enhances her beauty.. but yea.. my main reason to post this comment… it seems that although these actors and actresses are great at what they do (act) ..they don’t do very well in interviews… they seem to not know what they want to say before they say it… project your confidence with every word you speak.. love Edward and Bella forever xoxo
