Kristen Stewart and Jodie Foster Praise Dakota Fanning
Dakota Fanning, slated to play Volturi vampire Jane in the upcoming New Moon film, is scheduled to shoot the much awaited Twilight sequel with Kristen Stewart by May 2009; and then, both respected actresses move on together to the set of the biopic The Runaways, which is based on the story of the first all female rock band to reach platinum status. Here is what Kristen Stewart has to say about her New Moon and The Runaways co-star.
“I’ve always loved what [Dakota has] done. She’s very controlled and poised. In terms of her actual work that she makes, it’s always so different. She’s gonna rock [The Runaways].”
With regards to Dakota’s future performance in New Moon, Access Hollywood got Kristen’s opinion.
“I feel like [Dakota will] do something really interesting with it. It’s a crazy character she plays.”
Jodie Foster, who played the mother of Kristen Stewart in the film ‘Panic Room,’ also praised the young actress’ performance in the film Hounddog where Dakota had a controversial rape scene. This is what Jodie Foster said about Dakota when she was interviewed by Entertainment Weekly.
“[Dakota Fanning] is spectacular in [Hounddog]. [That's] a brave, brave performance that she should be very, very proud of, and I passed that message along to her. That’s why Dakota Fanning is going to end up being a real actress. I think it was a wonderful move for her and it’s setting her up to not be a Disney bimbo.”
