Kristen Stewart Admits to Writhing Really Well

Entertainment Weekly reporter Nicole Sperling, the same lady who interviewed the Twilight cast at the 2009 San Diego Comic Con, recounted a very provocative statement by New Moon leading lady Kristen Stewart as they shot the paper cut scene during Bella Swan’s 18th birthday, in particular, the fight between Edward and Jasper.
[Robert] Pattinson mugs for the movie camera between takes and teases his costar for just lying on the floor in the midst of all the vamp-on-vamp violence. ”Do you want Kristen to give us a little life back there?” he jokes to [New Moon] director [Chris Weitz].
Kristen [Stewart] smiles. ”I’m just writhing down here,” she says. ”A lot of writhing. I writhe really well.”
Uhm, I’m sure you do, Kristen. I’m sure you do… And, may I ask with whom do you writhe very well with? LOL. ATK reader Irene would like to make a guess…

I was already laughing just by reading the title of this post Lorna. LOL!
Sometimes Kristen can be so frank (an Arian trait? yes) that she is misunderstood. There were other instances that I think she has made Rob blush by her comments. I just can’t remember now LOL. She is witty so she knows her puns. It comes off as sarcasm sometimes, and here’s where she’s bashed. But I think it’s just her defense mechanism, when she doesn’t feel “safe” or accepted as she is? But I bet she can be sweet and adorable too to people who “get” her.

robyn – I totally agree, I think Kristen is extremely witty! She does come across a little tongue-tied and awkward sometimes but that’s just nerves in my opinion – and maybe everyone screaming at Rob. When she’s at ease like at the TCAs making fun of Rob’s hair, she’s incredibly funny and adorable (maybe because she was just about to make her getaway with Rob)… : )

LOL! Robyn – I totally agree with you, I think Kristen is extremely witty and funny! She does come across a little tongue-tied and awkward in some interviews, but I have a feeling it has more to do with the stress and craziness of some of the situations she’s put in aka Comic Con (and maybe with all the crazy screaming directed at Rob)… When she’s on and relaxed – like at the TCAs this past weekend making fun of Rob’s hair – she is utterly witty and adorable! (Maybe her mood at the TCAs had something to do with the car getaway they were just about to make? : ) )

I’ve been able to watch some of KS movies now.
Her writhing scene in Panic Room is especially awesome–like I had to go grab a drink afterward, LOL. That’s just how intense it was. LOL.

I noticed this little comment as well when I read the interview and thought about this as well but the others didn’t comment on this so I just forgot about it.

I agree with most of you that she is extremely witty but some people just don’t get what she says.
I’d rather listen to her remarks than have her behave like other airhead actresses whose favorite subjects are “I” “Me” “Myself”.
I think that’s one thing that sets her apart from all the other glitzy actresses. KStew’s got brains and talent… unlike some who have to remove their clothes to get noticed.
