Is Robert Pattinson Wearing A Promise Ring from Kristen Stewart
Rob, is that a ring I see dangling from your neck? May I see it much closer, please? Thank you.
Oohh… It IS a ring! Hey, you kept it hidden very well during the 2009 Cannes Film Festival Photo Call earlier. Cool!
So, Rob, is it a promise ring? An engagement ring? A wedding ring?
Is it from Kristen Stewart? Does Kristen have one too? Did you buy the rings together? Or did you surprise her by popping out a pair? Or is it her idea?
Can we assume that it entails the usual promises of love, etc.? How does she wear her ring? Like you do? Or on her finger? Is there anything engraved on your ring? What does yours say? What does hers say?
Did you buy a Finn sharky bling as a cover story why you suddenly have a leather cord around your neck? Do you wear them at the same time?
What if someone asked to see the shark tooth? If you’re wearing both on the same cord, won’t you be put in a tight spot if they see the ring as well? What will you answer if they ask about the ring? Will you simply ignore the question? Or do you have a ready answer?
Wait, I can’t seem to spot the ring in the pic above. Do you alternate between the shark tooth and the ring? Do you wear them separately on two cords so you can slip one or the other off easily?
Or is it a ring you’ve bought and basically carrying around in an unconventional manner, so that you’ll be ready to pop the question at the right moment? Not necessarily marriage. Maybe a commitment? I hear Italy is a beautiful romantic spot.
Trying to tell us something? Don’t care if we start assuming the most obvious reason? Or is this one of your indirect ways of spinning, Dr. Rob? 
No need to answer. Just writing out the questions flitting through my head.
Besides, we will make the proper and improper conclusions to fit our romantic notions.

Hi,girls!Rob looks stanning,as ever,but i don’t think that is a promise ring he’s wearing!He is wearing all the time since last year.Maybe it’s something that his parents gave him for good luck.Or an old girlfriend.Kristen on the other side wears many rings,especially on her left hand,like she’s engaged.I’m sure that’s MA’s gift.

Maybe I am overanalysing things but there looks to be a great distance between Kristen and Rob in the new shots from Italy. Neither one looks happy or relaxed and they look tense in the shots from the cafe when they do actually look at each other (which is rare). I also read that Michael is in Italy though haven’t seen a shot of him. I agree that the ease and chemistry they HAD (without a doubt) is missing in these recent shots and wonder how it will affect the movie. Even moreso if there is a break until filming the final. Anyway, to me, it seems that whatever crush they had either mutually or just on Rob’s part is gone and replaced by tension. Just look at that last shot of them leaving the cafe – Rob signing autos (?) and Kristen looking so small outside the cafe by herself. Something has shifted.

ridiculous. All of the photoshoots and interviews were back to back with Rob. Same outfit..same day.. same necklace. It’s the sharktooth one. If you watch clearer versions of the video it’s outrageously obvious that it’s the same necklace.
A promise ring from Kristen? Get a grip. They’re just friends.

Don’t know if it’s a ring but I looked at a few things on Youtube. In the video where he walks out for the press shoot, he puts something in his pocket. (maybe another leather with ring?) Your picture of the shark tooth leather necklace length looks thinner than other pictures on Grand Journal and leaving his hotel. Particularly, the pictures on Youtube of him leaving the hotel looks like he is wearing two leather necklaces. Interesting.

kyler2112: radaronline got it all wrong! Michael is NOT in Italy. It wasn’t Michael Angarano that they saw it was Rob’s manager that looks like Michael. No sighting of MA in Italy. Just wish they get their story straight before printing it! I’ve seen a clearer version of this picture and I’m telling you that Rob is wearing a thick gold ring on one leather cord with the gold shark tooth on another behind it. Part of the difficulty of getting a good look at the ring is the tooth hanging around it. But I’m certain that there is a ring together with the shark tooth.
I’ll try to ask my RK community if I can post the clearer version of the same picture here. I cannot just copy said pix because it’s part of our rules not to post pictures and other info what has been posted, written, or discussed there.

You’ll see he clearly is only wearing one in that photo. I noticed on the video version of his photo shoot that he stuffs something in his pocket. All will draw their own conclusions.

He wore it everyday in Cannes, but then in Italy now that he is with Kristen he hasn’t been seen wearing it. It would be nice to think that Kristen might have gave him it as his 23rd birthday present?
