movies. ndtv.com reports on what The Girl with the Dragon tattoo director is looking for in his leading lady in the trilogy series.
“[Director David Fincher] is looking for authenticity and a degree of fierceness and believability capable of delivering the intensity that the part on the page calls for,” said a source.
Although it seems tailor made for The Twilight Saga star Kristen Stewart, other stars are also being rumored to be up for the role, including Anne Hathaway and Natalie Portman
Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart has confirmed that she is part of the film On The Road, “the seminal 1957 novel by Jack Kerouac that came to define the Beat Generation, according to USA Today.”
Kristen Stewart will be donning beatnik inspired costumes during the summer shooting of 2010, before she heads on to the Breaking Dawn set.

no.. I have been following this story since a little while… it’s gonna be carry mulligan.. and I hate that! Kristen is the ONE for this story… along with george clooney.. that would be just perfect. But Carrey?!?!

yeah. this part went to carey. it’s already listed on her imdb page. there were some rumors that the family members of the author prefered her over kstew because she already has the title “oscar nominee” to her name.i still can’t believe it wasn’t kristen. she would have been perfect for the role. in my opinion, carey just looks too sweet and girly.
i really wish kristen would win an oscar for her role in “an american girl”. that would show them!

I lost interest in the movie. I probably won’t watch it. But nothing against the actor. Only kstew can make my movie trip exciting.

carey is way too girly. Lisbeth Salander, is badass american hacker. I think if Angie (angelina jolie) still in her 20s, she’d be chosen.
I think kstew will fit this role despite her famous bitchface and badass look, she is a dedicated actress too.

BUT… kstew is in a movie called “on the road”… and it seems to be a really good one.. so she maybe lost the part in “The girl with the dragon tattoo” but she still choosing A-list scripts and storie.. good luck kristen!
