How Robert Pattinson Made Stephenie Meyer Tear Up in the Breaking Dawn Birth Scene

Note: The video above may not be available to all regions. Sorry. :(

I get excited to watch the Breaking Dawn birth scene because I get to hear Rob call Kristen “baby,” a fact that became even more thrilling when I learned from ATK readers Chi, Guinevere and Karen that the death scene was “improvised,” because it gives even more credence to my use of the endearment in the diaries.

On the more serious side, Twilight series author and Breaking Dawn producer Stephenie Meyer admitted to tearing up while shooting the pivotal scene. MTV reports.

“He was really able to touch the human emotions of that scene. Rob really nailed it,” Stephenie recalled. “It was really powerful. I teared up, several people near me did. It was just a lump in your throat—that moment of thinking you’ve lost everything and not being able to accept it. It was really emotional.”
