Curiosity again on my part. How much does a movie ticket cost at your local cinema? Maybe you can give the cost in your local currency and then convert it to dollars, plus, tell us any special features that exist at your local cinema.

For example, in Metro Manila, a movie ticket costs around Php 120-170, an estimated $3-4. In certain malls and films, continuous screening is allowed, meaning one ticket will allow you to watch a film numerous times. Woot!

I live in the small city, in the middle of Borneo Island. very…very…small city.

we newly have movie theater last september (can you believe it??..) and it’s cost IDR15.000-20.000 or $1.5 – 2 US dollars
It’s quite cheap actually, but I think NM will play around march or may 2010 (can you believe it again ??..)

so…..I think, I will use my first method like last year when I saw Twilight.
I bought a returned flight ticket it’s cost around IDR 1.200.000 0r $120 US dollars to Jakarta (state nation of Indonesia) and a movie ticket cost around IDR 35.000- 50.000 or $ 3.50-5.00 ( it’s same like Rosie who lives in Bandung, Indonesia….hi Rosie *hands wave*)

then I could see NM in Dec, 3 months faster than my origin city, but still late than all of you in europe or US :(

  • Lorna Lopez Says:

Hello Twimom Cairo. Great to hear from you. That’s an interesting tactic with the bag. I do it sometimes as well, but without bothering to buy the extra ticket. Haha! :)
