Harry Potter Star Daniel Radcliffe Talks Robert Pattinson and Twilight

Despite being drenched by rains during the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince at the Odeon Leicester Square in London on 07 July 2009, Daniel Radcliffe kept his spirits up for the momentous occasion.
During a press conference for the film, the Harry Potter star shared his thoughts regarding the Twilight phenomenon and the success of Robert Pattinson, with whom Daniel Radcliffe worked with in the 2005 Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire (To watch the video, please visit Digital Spy and go to 26:00)
“The thing that is interesting for me, is that Twilight is the only other franchise that comes close to Potter in terms of the mania that surrounds it, the attention that the leads get and just how global it is.
“I won’t pretend [Robert Pattinson and I are] best mates or knew each other really well, but, we really enjoyed working with each other, or, at least. I enjoyed working with him! He’s doing brilliantly, which is fantastic.”
Daniel Radcliffe also admitted not having seen Twilight, and his confession was echoed by Harry Potter cast mates Michael Gambon, otherwise known as Professor Dumbledore, and Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy.
Daniel and Tom agreed playfully to have a date and watch Twilight together. LOL

Oh how wonderful was that! I just quite don’t like when people compare a lot twilight with harry potter. Seems like they’re enemies to eachother. They have different genre! So they’re huge, success and famous on their way! just read ELLE UK magz with emma .W. As a covermodel. She said, twilight was the one of her guilty pleasures. And i guess there’s no jelously at eachother, isn’t it? (and i guess yes)

i think twilight is a bigger phenomenon than harry potter and it hasn’t been out as long, so i think it is only going to get bigger.
and they really have got to see the movie, soon!

Well they probably haven’t seen it because they’re dudes. None of my guyfriends are interested in it! My DH watched it because of me, hehe.
I love the Twilight saga but I love the books better than the movie.

Im with isabel … all of my guyfriends dont get why i like it so much … and i love the books more 2 … but i will not miss that movie … even if i have 2 stay the whole day in the movies waiting in line … hahaha …
