From then on, the vampires’ films become one hot theme in the entertainment field. And I have to say that the Dark Legend Prequel could be the one regarded as an epic of vampires. In that film, they create a totally new view of this world for the audients. The two biggest herbs in the ancient tales met each other in this epic. The fight between the vampires and the lycans seems as the fight between the slaves and the slave owners. It is not the tales but the reflection of the real history.

The lycan is the reflection of the slaves in this world, the black people, the Asian or other races which are kept as the slaves in the history. They have the ability to fight for freedom, but they did not do so until one day their leader came into being. The conflict then became unsolvable and the revolution came. No one could be sure for what will happen tomorrow. That is the common thought for that age.

The Dark Legend Prequel just adds some legendary elements into the real history of slaves’ fighting and makes it to be a legend of the hero. Sometimes we have to realize that this world is really very cruel to some particular ones. The history of this world is a real dark legend. The chant which is used to locked slaves is the real iron chant. The history is bloody.
