I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed the movie. Being someone who’s life had not been too influenced by music, or rock and roll for that matter, I was really pulled into the story and the life of the Runaways. Good on the writers for choosing the right scenes and moments to highlight.

If you’ve noticed, some The Runaways scenes of Dakota require her to use her real hair. Either the scenes are flashbacks, or maybe the use of the real hair and wig are also to highlight the transition of Cherie Currie from girl to rocker chick. Since production schedule will require sequences to be shot in a NON-chronological order, it would be more practical for Dakota to wear a wig and alternate it with her real hair, depending on the scene.
