Dakota Fanning May Be in New Moon with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson

Entertainment Tonight has confirmed with Summit Entertainment that brilliant and gifted Dakota Fanning “is one of the actresses being discussed for a role in ‘New Moon.’”
E! surmises that the role being discussed for Dakota is that of pain wielding Botticelli angel look alike — Jane of the Volturi.
Although Dakota Fanning thinks, “It would be so cool to play a vampire,” she does restrain her excitement, “[It's] too soon to tell right now, but I really hope that it does happen.”
Dakota has worked with some of the best in the entertainment industry, including Sean Penn, Robert de Niro, Tom Cruise, Denzel Washington and Glenn Close.
Just the thought of these two uber talented young female actors — Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart — sharing the same screen and acting together is making me giddy! Throw in Rob and the confrontation scene between Edward, Bella and Jane in the Volturi court scene will be one unbelievably exciting scene! Woot!

Yeah, what’s all the fuss? I think Dakota would be excellent! She already has ties to Summit with “Push”. Sure she looks angelic, but I always pictured Jane this way. The idea of the characting sweet and young, but disturbingly evil is that much more shocking. I wonder who will be cast for Alec?

Hi Shannon. When you say fuss, do you mean some people don’t think it’s a good idea to cast Dakota as Jane?
And if Haley Joel Osment is considered for Alec I will squeal!

is Dakota Fanning old enough to show up in Twilight as a teenager?

Hi Coffee. Dakota has been quietly growing up (I know it’s a bit shocking to see her now) and is turning 15 on February, so she’s definitely old enough to be in Twilight.
