Dakota Fanning Crowned a Homecoming Princess Cheerleader
After wrapping The Twilight Saga : Eclipse on 01 October 2009, it seems that Dakota Fanning went back to her high school The Campbell Hall Episcopal in North Hollywood, where she is a member of the cheerleading squad. On 30 October 2009, aside from doing her splits and being tossed in the air, Dakota Fanning was also crowned Homecoming Princess after the Vikings football game.
Dakota Fanning also wrapped the Joan Jett biopic earlier this year, where she co-starred as Cherie Currie alongside her fellow New Moon co-actor Kristen Stewart
For her next project, it is rumored that Dakota Fanning will fill in the red shoes of Dorothy in a modern adaptation of The Wizard of Oz.
The petite star seems to be able to do everything, making sure to juggle school and work, plus, being involved in extra-curricular activities. Brava Dakota! *clapping*

Wow. I could never have figured that she is a cheerleader. Just like Kris and football. They both look so fragile. But they’re both awesome for being so unpredictable and everything. *stands up and claps* Brava Dakota!

I hate when people say she won just cause she’s famous. That may have had something to do with her nomination, but I’m pretty sure it’s more than just that. I know I wouldn’t be voting for someone just cause they’re famous. She seems like a sweet girl (:

That’s so nice of her… My dear coach said, ‘Once a Cheerleader, always a Cheerleader’. How I missed performing *sigh*

She seems like a really nice person. She’s kinda stereotypical…really stereotypical but whatever. She’s like that for a reason and I still like her.

I really find that encouraging that with all of her celebrity, she is still able to go to a ‘regular’ school and have that experience. High school is an intrugal part in growing up. I am glad she gets to have that experience! I dont know many girls who dont want to be on the homecoming court!
