Dakota Fanning Celebrates 18th Birthday

At last, Dakota Fanning can have more creative freedom by turning eighteen on 23 February 2012. Fresh from her Cosmopolitan and Marc Jacobs controversies, the former child star can now legally take on more adult roles if she wants to, although she has been accepting demanding roles in the past years, such as Cherie Currie in The Runaways; and will have Now is Good for release next, where she plays a girl dying of leukemia who’s determined to live her life to the fullest, and that includes experiencing sex for the first time.

At present, the Twilight starlet has reportedly been attending college classes at the NYU.

    Btw, I might be wrong, but based on what I just read, it seems as if Now Is Good is similar to Kristen’s role in The Cake Eaters.
