I spotted her as soon as I arrived on the On the Road set. That unmistakable stance was so distinct that it couldn’t be hidden even in a crowd. I lengthened my stride to reach her side immediately. My fingers were already tingling in anticipation.
“Rob? Rob? Sweetie? They’re ready for us. The next scene is set up. C’mon.”
Reese’s voice broke me out of my reverie. I followed her woodenly onto the Water for Elephants set. Although I was enjoying myself with my friendly and talented co-star, there’s no denying the fact that I was already straining to see Kristen. The last few days of shooting were an interminable wait till I could fly out to Montreal to be with her.

I beadily eyed the gaggle of girls hanging around Kristen. They’ve followed her from one end of the red carpet to the other, repeatedly trying to get her attention. I suspect they’re the dreaded Krisbians, ladies who have a tremendous crush on my Kristen. They’re an added bane to my existence, an unexpected sortie of sorts.
I snorted delicately. Was there no end to this whole lunacy? Not only do I have to contend with Kristen’s male co-actors who can’t keep their hands to themselves, male admirers of all ages who try and chat up my girlfriend, and now, there’s the female contingent who call themselves Krisbians to worry about. It’s just too much for one bloke to bear! Bloody hell!

Kristen had been evasive for several days, and, this morning was no exception. Her call time on the Eclipse set was hours earlier than mine, and, every time I nonchalantly asked her for specifics, she would mumble, “Just one of the Bella and Jacob scenes.”
When I pressed her as to which scene, she would conveniently change the subject or go into the loo and close the door on my face. But I knew the reason why Kristen was avoiding the simple question. Because she and Taylor were doing the snogging scene in Eclipse, the one where Jacob storms off and Bella calls him back by demanding that he kiss her.
