I was so glad to be back in LA. I had missed Rob. Although Taylor was a great companion, the frightening crowds and its cacophony can be quite tiring. And, even though it was the third time that I had toured Europe to promote The Twilight Saga, the overwhelming flow of energy can still easily throw me into a fit of tears if I weren’t careful. Rob was so much better with these appearances, and, his humor always helps me deal with the whole scenario.

I snuggled closer, silently begging for his touch. He obliged by clasping me across the shoulders and hauling me to his side, while his other hand busily swigged a bottle of Heineken to his lips while his eyes stayed glued to the TV screen.

“Hey Flippy! Watch out for your feet!” Although I said the warning jokingly, I was half serious in my admonition to Rob as we prepared to do a shot for the Volturi fight scene. There were several sequences involved, but this one required Daniel Cudmore, who was playing Volturi henchman Felix, to grab Rob by the neck with his meaty hand and hurl him to the ground.

Although the six foot 7 inch man was a gentle man by nature, accidents were inevitable. On the first day alone, Rob unwittingly hurt himself when he did a forward roll, and, as only he can do, somehow managed to spin off the wide safety mat and cracked his head against the marble floor.
