Will Kristen Stewart Attend the Bel Ami World Premiere at the Berlin Film Festival

Even out of competition, the world premiere of a film during a festival must be more nerve wracking than the regular premiere, with directors, producers, actors and film critics surely in attendance. Kristen Stewart is more experienced in this area, having several pieces of her work premiere in various film festivals.

With the announcement that Bel Ami will have its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival within the period of 09-19 February 2012, will Kristen Stewart quietly support her man, the same way she did when she attended the Water for Elephants premiere?

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been committed to making their sometimes long-distance relationship work, traveling to each other’s film sets when necessary.

Robert Pattinson Will Play Piano Duet in Breaking Dawn Part 2

This will surely be one of the loveliest moments in The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2 film. In an interview, Carter Burwell, composer of the Twilight films, has revealed that Edward and daughter Renesmee, played by actors Robert Pattinson and Mackenzie Foy, shot a sequence wherein they played the piano together. He also disclosed how Rob, being an able piano player, was quite intent on getting the proper fingering for the composition.

At what point in the filming process will you come onboard?

Generally, I don’t actually write anything until a film has actually been shot. But, there are some exceptions.

In the movie I’m working on right now, which is “Breaking Dawn: Part II,” they needed Rob Pattinson and the actress who plays his daughter to play piano onscreen. I had to write this duet before they shot the film so they could actually learn the parts. Rob is a musician, so he prides himself on working out the fingering for these correctly.

The co-stars of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart attended the 2012 Golden Globe Awards. Water for Elephants star Reese Witherspoon wore a red Zac Posen gown, with Fred Leighton jewels, and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Meanwhile, the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Huntsman Charlize Theron wore a Dior Couture gown, and had Cartier jewels flown in from Geneva to finish off her look.

Robert Pattinson Calls Betty White One of the Sexiest Women in America

Now, the seating arrangement of Betty White and Robert Pattinson at the 2012 People’s Choice Awards has been revealed to resonate with more meaning than meets the eye.

It seems that during the promotion of Remember Me in 2010, Robert Pattinson described Betty White as “one of the sexiest women in America! She’s vibrant; it’s sexy. I think the more age, the better.”

And, this off the cuff comment from the Twilight star has made it to the fifth book of Betty White — If You Ask Me (And Of Course You Won’t) — as a blurb, which the Hot in Cleveland star asserts did not cost her a nickel.

Robert Pattinson with a Buzz Cut and Seated Beside Betty White at the 2012 People’s Choice Awards

From a Twilighter’s point of view, there were two highlights for me at the 2012 People’s Choice Awards held at the Nokia Theatre in LA on 11 January 2012: seeing Robert Pattinson with a buzz cut (which is always preferable than when he grows a wild mop and scraggly beard), and seeing the indefatigable and charming Betty White seated beside him. Hopefully, Ms. White, who has been working steadily in the business even at the age of 90 (her birthday is on 17 January), was able to impart a few words of wisdom to the aspiring actor.

With Bel Ami being written in 1885, there was a huge possibility that it would be on public domain, meaning, it would be available for FREE online. True enough, it was, and I perused the first three paragraphs, finding out immediately why Robert Pattinson would be an excellent fit, physically, for the role, the same way that he was also a good choice in the period films Vanity Fair and Water for Elephants with Reese Witherspoon.

CHAPTER I.

POVERTY

After changing his five-franc piece Georges Duroy left the restaurant. He twisted his mustache in military style and cast a rapid, sweeping glance upon the diners, among whom were three saleswomen, an untidy music-teacher of uncertain age, and two women with their husbands.

When he reached the sidewalk, he paused to consider what route he should take. It was the twenty-eighth of June and he had only three francs in his pocket to last him the remainder of the month. That meant two dinners and no lunches, or two lunches and no dinners, according to choice. As he pondered upon this unpleasant state of affairs, he sauntered down Rue Notre Dame de Lorette, preserving his military air and carriage, and rudely jostled the people upon the streets in order to clear a path for himself. He appeared to be hostile to the passers-by, and even to the houses, the entire city.

Tall, well-built, fair, with blue eyes, a curled mustache, hair naturally wavy and parted in the middle, he recalled the hero of the popular romances.

As I’ve written before, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart make me watch movies that I don’t normally watch (I prefer action and fantasy). And, it’s going to happen again with Bel Ami, a film adaptation of the 1885 novel by Guy de Maupassant, wherein a penniless soldier attempts to attain success by seducing ladies of society.

An Ominous Conclusion Its very premise does not bode well for the character of Robert Pattinson, and one easily foresees that his lecherous activities can only bring him to a nasty end, which will surely not make for an evening of levity.

Possible Awkward Lovemaking Scenes Moreover, I’m crossing my fingers that Rob found it easier doing his seduction scenes when his character is of the diabolical sort rather than of the dedicated lover kind. As I’ve previously noted, Rob seems to find difficulty mustering the passion when it’s not Kristen (excellent samples are Remember Me and Water for Elephants), which is not, to put it simply, good for an actor, and a leading man at that.

Bel Ami will open in the United States on 02 March 2012.

In an interview with PopSugar, Robert Pattinson reveals that his holiday plans for 2011 involve the same: To be with family, basically.

If we are to base it on the past couple of years, that means Christmas with the Stewart family in Los Angeles, then fly to London with Kristen to spend time with the Pattinson clan, with a possible side trip with his mates to the Isle of Wight during the New Year.

Presently, Planet Hollywood on NYC Times Square has immortalized the hands of Robert Pattinson. Soon, Los Angeles will be the scene of not only the palms and fingers of Robert Pattinson, but also his feet, along with that of Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

PopSugar reports that “Rob, Kristen, and Taylor will have a hand and footprint ceremony at Grauman’s Chinese Theater next month, [November 2011].”

If any ATK reader makes her way to the famous Hollywood spot sometime in the future, can you please do this weird thing? Please put a ruler beside the foot of Robert Pattinson, clearly defining the length of said foot. And then take a picture. Then do it again with the other foot.

Why? Because the length has been a matter of discussion much earlier (remember Kristen Stewart Likes the Sexy Huge Feet of Robert Pattinson?) and it would be nice to finally have confirmation.

Yes, a bit perverted, but let’s chalk it up to a scientific and naughty curiosity. And, while you’re at it, maybe you can do the same with both of his hands (my favorite part).

Kristen Stewart told Glamour Magazine that “It’s fun to watch [Twilight] with [Taylor] because we actually sit and watch it. Me and Taylor are actual Twilight fans, so we can sit there and be totally into it! Whereas I sit there with Rob… he likes it, but he has just such a different energy.”

And Ron displayed that irreverent energy as he and Ashley Greene attended the Paris premiere of The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 1 and answered questions wherein Rob described the birth scene as hilarious, and had a fit of the giggles while he was at it.

Thankfully, Robert Pattinson submitted himself to have his beard trimmed for The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 1 premiere in Paris.

Unfortunately, Kristen Stewart was not able to get away from her Snow White and the Huntsman shoot. Twilight starlet Ashley Greene took her place by Rob’s side.

PopSugar reports that “Ashley went with a navy Givenchy dress while Rob suited up in Dolce & Gabbana.”

Robert Pattinson has been spotted at the LAX on 21 October 2011. RadarOnline.com reports that Robert Pattinson is “scheduled to be in Paris this weekend for an event for the upcoming movie in the series, Breaking Dawn: Part I.”

So far, the Cosmopolis lopsided haircut has grown out, as well as his beard. Will Rob allow a good cut and shave in preparation to meet the press? Hope so. He can look at it as part of the job…

MTV has confirmed that actors Hugh Jackman, Robert Pattinson and Rachel Weisz are still interested to star in the Madeleine Stowe project Unbound Captives, which is a Western film that’s “set in the 1800s. The film revolves around a woman (Weisz) whose husband is killed and two children are kidnapped by Comanche warriors. She enlists the help of a frontiersman (Jackman) to help rescue her children (one of whom will be played by Pattinson) from the tribe.”

I’m surmising that the film project has difficulty landing financiers. Although the Madeleine Stowe script has been lauded by Hugh Jackman as “one of the best scripts I’ve read in a long time,” Hollywood may be a bit leery of the Western genre at the moment, as well as the fact that the general story is a familiar one and has already been tackled in other films such as the Tommy Lee Jones and Cate Blanchett movie The Missing.

Robert Pattinson Flies to Toronto for Possible Cosmopolis Reshoots

The last time Robert Pattinson traveled was to visit Kristen Stewart in London, who’s shooting Snow White and the Huntsman in the UK. This time around, his arrival in Toronto may be for work, specifically, for Cosmopolis.

It’s rumored that the Twilight hunk will be in town for Cosmopolis reshoots. If so, his facial hair must be shaved off for his role. And, will his hair be cut once again for an unfinished look?

In the meantime, I’m wondering. With Kristen in Wales and Rob in Toronto, who’s taking care of Bear in Los Angeles?

Reese Witherspoon Hit by Car While Running

While on a run on 07 September 2011 in California, Robert Pattinson’s Water for Elephants co-star, Reese Witherspoon, was hit by a car that was going at 20mph. Reese was rushed to the hospital. Just Jared reports.

The 35-year-old actress was hit in Santa Monica but “was not seriously injured and is resting comfortably at home,” her rep said in a statement.

In 2009, while shooting Remember Me in New York City, Robert Pattinson was hit by a cab while avoiding some over zealous fans. Rob was unhurt and resumed his shooting schedule afterward.

Why Robert Pattinson Is In An Irie State

IRIE means “to be at total peace with your current state of being. The way you feel when you have no worries.”

Presently, Robert Pattinson has wrapped Cosmopolis and is enjoying a vacation before The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 1 press duties. He must be in an irie state because:

Robert Pattinson can shun shaving and grow a beard if he wants to.
Robert Pattinson can strum the guitar or play the piano whenever the musical bug hits him.
Robert Pattinson can play more with his dog Bear.
Robert Pattinson can eat more fish and chips and pizza if he wants to.
Robert Pattinson can be with Kristen Stewart once he’s done with meeting his management team and attended auditions for possible future projects.

Robert Pattinson Jokes About Clothing Line Rags by Rob

It seems that Rob’s ironic humor, usually accompanied by self-deprecating laughter, can be mistaken for real even by his Twilight mates, such as Kellan Lutz, who recounted a conversation with the vampire heartthrob.

“Rob and I were talking about doing a clothing line together. Rob didn’t know I was doing mine. He’s like, ‘I should do one’ and I’m like, ‘Oh.’

“And he found out I was doing one and he’s like, ‘Really?’ It was really funny. He wants to do one too. What’d we call it, we called it Rags by Rob or something, because he’s always so like, I don’t know… hipster.”

If it weren’t for his management team, Robert Pattinson would probably pick up whatever piece of clothing is on the floor or rummage through the hamper for The Twilight Saga premieres, so it’s a bit farfetched for him to start his own clothing line.

A perfect example of how nonchalant Rob could be about clothing was when he borrowed a sweat and smoke stained checkered shirt from his mate, who had worn it to a concert the night before, and then showed up with said shirt the next day at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards (my theory was later confirmed by Twilight director Catherine Hardwick).

Although Robert Pattinson is not a bit sartorial in real life, his personal style has already made me buy a checkered shirt with a hoodie.

Repeatedly, Robert Pattinson has said that he can’t stand watching himself onscreen, big or small (although he finally admitted to catching Twilight finally).

However, in her W Magazine interview, Kristen Stewart seems to be challenging his claim.

Do you like watching yourself?
It’s not like I sit around watching my movies again and again, but I’ve never quite believed actors when they say they don’t watch themselves. I hear them going around the block to make excuses for why they don’t watch their work. It’s bullshit. Sorry, guys—I know you watch your stuff.

Robert Pattinson with Harry Potter Stars at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards

When Robert Pattinson played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, most of his scenes were with Daniel Radcliffe, so it’s nice to see Rob with the other Harry Potter stars.

Rupert Grint is my fave, and it’s great that he and Rob were able to get together backstage at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards. Lainey Gossip was able to unearth an earlier pic of the two of them from the 2005 Goblet of Fire premiere, and it’s interesting to see the changes over the years. Later on, 2011 Choice Villain winner Tom Felton joined the pair.

As he accepted the Choice Celebrity Vampire award at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards on 07 August 2011, Robert Pattinson made sure to mention Cancer Bites, a movement to support blood cancer research, i.e., leukemia and lymphoma.

Other actors who are on hit vampire films and TV series have also rallied to the cause, such as Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley of Vampire Diaries and Alexander Skarsgard of True Blood.

Via texts, ATK reader Guinevere shared her thoughts about these images of Robert Pattinson and Tom Sturridge out on a walk with Bear in Los Angeles on 19 July 2011.

Rob looks bigger than Tom. (Yeah, sorta puts to rest the theory that Rob had a double in the Breaking Dawn bedroom scene.)

Bear is so big already. (Bear has grown, plus, he’s losing his baby fat!)

Tom the Yeti. (I was confused at first when ATK reader Guinevere texted this, but once I saw the pic, I quickly understood that it’s in reference to the full beard he’s wearing. Haha!)

These are the simple pleasures of life. The sun is shining, Rob’s with his BFF, Bear is growing up, and, when he gets home, Kristen Stewart will be there (figuratively, like, when she returns after training for Snow White and the Huntsman).

Interestingly enough, I looked up IRIE (can’t make out the red letters though, somebody please tell me?) and it means:

to be at total peace with your current state of being. The way you feel when you have no worries.

Update According to Celebs, “Rob was sporting an ‘Irie Jamaica’ T-shirt, which is slang on the island for ‘having no worries.’”

Robert Pattinson is no stranger to the intricacies of BFF relationships. It’s a well-known fact that his circle of friends has been unofficially dubbed the Brit pack.

Therefore, can Rob and his management team please consider a buddy film in the future (I haven’t seen How To Be)? We understand that the current game plan is to be recognized as a young dramatic actor, therefore accepting parts in films such as Cosmopolis and Water for Elephants; but, can there be a buddy dramedy in the future? To make it even easier, Rob’s real BFF can be cast — Tom Sturridge. And, while they’re at it, how about hottie and seriously excellent actor Ryan Gosling as well?

It’s nice to note that the usually dramatic Kristen Stewart, who has chosen “serious” fare in the past such as The Runaways and Welcome to the Rileys, has opted to go for an action film series for her next project — Snow White and the Huntsman

After going around the world to help cosmetics, perfume and toy seller Avon promote its pro-women events, Water for Elephants star Reese Witherspoon made sure to attend a charitable event benefiting Africa, a continent that’s very close to the hearts of the royal couple — Prince William and Princess Catherine. People reports.

[Reese Witherspoon and other stars] mingled at the home of businessman/film producer Steve Tisch, where Catherine and Prince William spent time with donors to Tusk USA, an organization dedicated to preserving Africa’s heritage and culture.
