With the Giants versus Patriots game constantly on every talk show this week, I suddenly remembered how great Kristen Stewart is with a football, as she proved on the Jimmy Fallon show when she hit four out of five targets with the football. If The Twilight Saga star watches the 2012 Super Bowl, will she root for the Giants or the Patriots?

With the recent release of the Mirror Mirror trailer, I decided that I will finally watch my one and only Snow White and the Huntsman trailer, as is my custom; and, invariably, compare.

It seems that both films had their Snow White running away into the woods, meeting up with some malcontents before training to defeat the Evil Queen, albeit the difference is Mirror Mirror takes a comic bent while Snow White and the Huntsman decides on a more profound and frightening attack.

Since I’m a sci-fi/fantasy genre fan, I’m more attracted to Snow White and the Huntsman, although my overall satisfaction will still have to be determined. I was taken aback with its marked similarity to the Lord of the Rings trilogy (remember that design on Kristen’s shield that’s too much like the White Tree of Gondor?), although the knowledge that the Alice in Wonderland team is involved does allay some of my fears.

Did Kristen Stewart Congratulate Chris Weitz for A Better Life 2012 Oscar Nomination

Once again, knowing how supportive Kristen Stewart is of her New Moon director Chris Weitz, it wouldn’t be hard to imagine the Twilight star congratulating him for the 2012 Oscar nomination for Best Actor for his lead, Demián Bichir, in the Summit Entertainment film A Better Life.

MTV managed to catch Demián Bichir for his reaction to the nomination:

Another first-time nominee in the Best Actor category is Demián Bichir, star of the lesser-known but well-received “A Better Life,” who admitted to being completely overwhelmed at having his name read along with Oldman’s and the other “incredible” Best Actor nominees.

“This could have never happened if Chris Weitz had not been the head of this film,” Bichir said in a statement. “He is my brother and I thank him deeply. Hopefully more and more people will jump into iTunes and Netflix to see our film. That will be the biggest reward we could get. I dedicate this nomination to those eleven million human beings who make our lives easier and better in the U.S.”

Kristen Stewart & Anton Yelchin & Dakota Fanning There are some interesting things about the upcoming film, Very Good Girls, wherein Dakota Fanning, together with 2011 Sundance darling Elizabeth Olsen, will play friends who fall in love with the character of Anton Yelchin. Remarkably, Kristen Stewart and Anton Yelchin co-starred as young star-crossed lovers in the 2005 film Fierce People.

Screenwriters with Directorial Debuts Like Kristen Stewart’s mom, Jules Mann – Stewart, Very Good Girls director Naomi Foner is also a screenwriter. Jules Mann – Stewart helmed her directorial debut effort, entitled K-11, last year. Naomi Foner will shoot her directorial debut, Very Good Girls, on June 2012 in New York.

Famous Daughter and Son Another interesting fact is that both Jules Mann – Stewart and Naomi Foner have famous children. Jules Mann – Stewart, of course, is the mother of Kristen Stewart; while Naomi Foner calls Jake Gyllenhaal son.

Will Kristen Stewart Support 2012 Sundance Film Predisposed

There are a couple of reasons why Kristen Stewart may be enticed out of hibernation. Two of her previous co-stars are the leads in a 2012 Sundance film — Oscar nominee Jesse Eisenberg from Adventureland and Oscar winner Melissa Leo from Welcome to the Rileys and The Cake Eaters.

With her generous nature, Kristen Stewart may well be persuaded to head over to her old stomping grounds in Park City, Utah and support her previous co-stars by attending the world premiere or one of its screenings. Predisposed is one of 91 films that will have its world premiere at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival :

Predisposed / U.S.A. (Directors & Screenwriters: Philip Dorling, Ron Nyswaner) – Eli Smith, a piano prodigy, is dealing with his troubled mother and enlisting help from a hapless drug dealer on the day he has an audition for a prestigious music program. Okay, I was taken by surprise that Chris Hemsworth is married. Not only is he married, but his wife, Spanish actress Elsa Pataky, is expecting their first child. Elsa is teasing her husband that she will only teach the baby the Spanish language to encourage him to learn it faster. People reports.

“I’m only going to speak to the baby in Spanish. I already told my husband, ‘Get ready fast with Spanish because, if not, you’re not going to be able to understand what we say,” she says.

The co-stars of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart attended the 2012 Golden Globe Awards. Water for Elephants star Reese Witherspoon wore a red Zac Posen gown, with Fred Leighton jewels, and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Meanwhile, the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Huntsman Charlize Theron wore a Dior Couture gown, and had Cartier jewels flown in from Geneva to finish off her look.

Kristen Stewart Favorite Food Network Host Allegedly Diagnosed with Diabetes

Kristen Stewart has been quite vocal about her admiration for Food Network host Paula Deen.

Stewart said she’s a “massive, massive” fan and points to Southern cook Paula Deen as one of her favorites. “I think Paula is hilarious and she makes the best food ever,” Stewart gushed.

However, rumors are whirling, saying that Paula Deen is about to announce that she has Diabetes 2, in connection with a “a multimillion-dollar deal with a pharmaceutical company to promote the medication she has been taking for the disease.”

Kristen Stewart is no stranger to the disease, having portrayed a young character living with diabetes in the film The Panic Room, where Academy winner Jodie Foster played her mother.

This announcement has set me giggling. Remember how I keep harping on this beautiful Balenciaga dress that Kristen Stewart wore for the New Moon premiere in Madrid, the latest of which is The Robert Pattinson Diaries — Persuading Kristen Stewart to Wear Victoria’s Secret for Christmas?

Well, Balenciaga has announced that Kristen Stewart has been chosen as the new face of the second perfume from the famous fashion house, which will be launched in the fall of 2012, “embodying Kristen’s “modernity” and “unique sensibility and intelligence,” says Balenciaga’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere.”

Moreover, the public statement from Kristen Stewart regarding her acceptance to represent the Balenciaga brand sounds like her:

“Balenciaga has always stood out to me,” quotes Women’s Wear Daily of Stewart. “Even when I first began to consider fashion and admittedly rarely knew the brand I was wearing, I always recognized and loved Balenciaga. It feels full circle to be involved with something that spoke to me then and of course continues to excite me now. The brand is just cool. That’s the way it is. I feel drawn to it. It provokes on a number of levels. It isn’t afraid or contrived. It hits a very cool balance, always. Always pretty undeniable.”

And, maybe this means that Kristen Stewart will wear more exciting creations from Balenciaga (that will set Rob on fire). Now, the 2012 Oscars show sounds like a pretty good idea.

For her controversial February 2012 Cosmopolitan cover, Dakota Fanning has her The Runaways co-star Kristen Stewart singing her praises:

At one point huntsman Chris Hemsworth was in New York City shooting Avengers, while Snow White Kristen Stewart was already in the UK, making me wonder when they were ever gonna get together to shoot some sequences.

Finally, the two stars of Snow White and the Huntsman are in Wales for a battle sequence, both in fine form as they gallop across the sands, implying that both have prepared to acquire the necessary equestrian skills for their characters.

Looks like the horseback lessons back in Los Angeles paid off as Kristen Stewart shot a battle scene on the Welsh coast for her lead role in Snow White and the Huntsman. Happily, her new armor fits her much better than the one she wore in an earlier press release.

Astride a white steed in armor, Kristen Stewart (or her body double, who must be the lady also in armor with the same hairstyle in the picture above) plunged headlong into a full gallop across the sands, leading a small army in what must be one of the film’s highlights.

Kristen Stewart made a surprise appearance at the 2011 London Fashion Week during the Mulberry show. It turns out that the Twilight and Snow White starlet is an avid fan of the brand. E! caught up with Kristen Stewart at the Mulberry show backstage, who gushed about her preference.

“It’s not something I typically do, but I thought it was a good one,” Stew dished backstage about why she stepped out for the swanky event. “Most of my luggage is Mulberry. I’m a fan.

“It’s sort of classic. It’s very much my speed because it’s rather timeless, isn’t it? It’s simple too. I like things that are kind of simple.”

Gracing the cover of the Teen Vogue October 2011 issue, Lily Collins talks about how she’s learning sword fighting for her Snow White character, and touched on Kristen Stewart’s similar role.

Lily reports that this take on the fairy tale is “very much a fantasy,” and that, although she does “become a fighter at the end,” her Snow White bears little resemblance to the one that Kristen Stewart will play in Snow White and the Huntsman. “I think the audience may very well enjoy seeing two different versions,” she insists, “and I think that Kristen is perfect for hers.”

(A third iteration of the story, Disney’s The Order of the Seven, was announced the day after the interview.) Lily’s been studying sword fighting for the role, building on the stunt training she undertook while shooting Abduction [with Taylor Lautner].

Kristen Stewart Debuts in Marcus Foster Music Video

It’s hard to believe that this is Kristen Stewart’s first music video. Yet, it is.

Kristen Stewart decided to grace the first music video of the first single off the debut album of one of Robert Pattinson’s Brit pack — Marcus Foster — making it a debut of sorts for both of them.

I like the fact that the I Was Broken video was kept relatively simple, focusing on the emotional turmoil of the song, movingly depicted by Marcus Foster, while Kristen Stewart’s image weaves in and out like some wraith that’s tormenting him.

Marcus Foster’s debut album, Nameless Path, will be released on 19 September 2011.

Uncannily looking like Brad Pitt in profile, Huntsman Chris Hemsworth was spotted shooting in Cleveland for The Avengers film, which confused me because I thought everyone would be in the UK by now for Snow White and the Huntsman. I wonder if Evil Queen Charlize Theron and Prince Charmant Sam Claflin are on the set for their scenes with Kristen Stewart as Snow White.

Next year, Chris Hemsworth will be promoting two films back to back since The Avengers opens May 2012, while Snow White and the Huntsman will be released June 2012.

Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White One thing for sure, Snow White is very popular these days. Even before any film version will be released, Snow White will be regularly seen in an ABC series entitled Once Upon A Time. HBO’s Big Love star Ginnifer Goodwin stars as a more mature Snow White, who has forgotten who she is and is trapped in a present-day town called Storybrooke with other fairy tale characters, while the Evil Queen plots to make happy endings disappear forever. It will premiere on ABC on 23 October 2011.

Lily Collins as Snow White The Snow White of Tarsem Singh is more lighthearted and is described as “a spirited adventure comedy filled with jealousy, romance, and betrayal.” It’s opening has now been moved from June to March 2012.

Kristen Stewart as Snow White Snow White and the Huntsman will go to the other end of the spectrum and will film a more raw and powerful version of the fairy tale, with Snow White joining the fray as a warrior. Snow White and the Huntsman will open on June 2012.

Disney with The Order of the Seven Disney has been trying to reinvent Snow White since 2002, with a martial arts spin wherein Snow White, while running away from the Evil Queen, meets seven warriors, each with his own unique fighting style. Screenrant has some excellent points regarding the film project, which is slated to shoot in 2012 (presumably for a 2013 release).

On the surface, Order of the Seven bears more than a passing resemblance to Universal’s upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman. Both are being fashioned as unique action-oriented fantasy adventures that retain elements of the original Brothers Grimm story – not to mention, each project will mark the feature-length directorial debut of a helmer who previously worked in the area of commercials, and is being scripted by a handful of noteworthy writers. In Order of the Seven‘s case, Oscar-winner Michael Arndt (Toy Story 3) penned the most recent draft.

Will Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning Meet Up in London
