Catching the Cullens on the New Moon Set

18 April 2009, Saturday, turned out to be the last day of shooting for majority of the Cullens.
Allie, together with her friends Amy and Ranelle, went to the Cullen set at 12.30am of 18 April 2009, and caught a glimpse of some of the cast members leaving for a break before resuming a few hours later.
Allie and her friends stayed despite the fact that most of the other Twilighters left, and basically suffered through the cold, hoping to see the Cullens when they come back.
Their patience paid off as Kristen Stewart, Peter Facinelli, Nikki Reed and Jackson Rathbone actually went down their vehicles to chat and have their pictures taken with the patient Twilight fans at around 6am.
Robert Pattinson and Ashley Greene arrived later and rolled their car window down and let their pictures be taken as well.

So Allie’s group basically semi-froze for five and a half hours, staying there with just a glimmer of hope, which was rewarded richly.
However, I’m beginning to wonder. If I’m based in Vancouver, would I actually make the effort to stake out the New Moon set? I think I’ll only do it if I’m with other Twilighter friends, otherwise, I’ll just leave it up to the fates.
And, even if the fates were kind, knowing that Rob prefers to go unnoticed, even if I did spot him, I’m not too sure that I would approach him. Is that crazy or what?

Uh, YES. What these women did is cr—y. I could understand it better if they were teenagers, but c’mon, these are grown WOMEN. I’d be sooooo embarrassed. (Well, I was born embarrassed, but still. I’d never do this, never stake out a celebrity. No, no, no.)
I’m all about Fate and if it’s meant to happen, it will. And even then, I’m sure I’d never go the Stalkerama route.
I’ll just stalk ‘em on blogs and such, hee, hee.

I can’t do what they did! I guess I’m not that die-hard. Did they even see Robert? I only want to see Robert Pattinson but like you Lorna, I may be frozen in my tracks and not even approach him. I’m too scared that I’ll make a fool out of myself. And I don’t want to look desperate and I doubt anyone of my girlfriends would go with me to wait for hours in the cold hoping to see a glimpse of someone.
I figured if I really am meant to meet him, then it will happen.

And, yes, Isabel, they did see Robert, but he didn’t go down the car. Ashley, who was with him, rolled down the window on her side so the fans were able to get pics of the two of them.

I clicked on the link and it says it exceeded its quota. I had to re-read your post again! Sorry! I missed one part. But RPattz didn’t get down from the car.
I’m glad they got to see Robert. Wow, I wonder if he’s going deaf soon from all the screaming that seems to follow him everywhere he goes.

Hell no would I stalk a set like this and in the cold? Hell no to that. I hate camping so I would do good in this situation. Only reason I’m glad that they did end up stalking is because they were able to get these fabulous pictures for Cyber Stalking…haha. Kristen looks gorgeous don’t you guys think? She’s looking much happier lately, maybe love is in the air?
