Bryce Dallas Howard as The Twilight Saga Baddie Victoria

I can unequivocally state with absolute certainty that Bryce Dallas Howard will do an excellent job of the characterization of Victoria for The Twilight Saga.
Although I am saddened by the departure of Rachelle Lefevre, the choice of Bryce Dallas Howard to replace her is a highly reassuring balm that lessens considerably, if not totally, the panic upon hearing the news that Rachelle Lefevre had to leave the highly successful franchise due to conflicting schedules with another project.
The choice of Bryce Dallas Howard then becomes a wise decision, for her brilliance and natural talents were honed in New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama (2003). Bryce also studied further with the highly regarded Steppenwolf training program in Chicago. That her father is the famous actor-director Ron Howard is just an interesting tidbit of a powerhouse female actor.
Bryce Dallas Howard will most probably be familiar to audiences for her roles in Terminator Salvation, the Spiderman series, and the M Night Shyamalan helmed films The Village and Lady in the Water (a good talking point with Jackson Rathbone who has the same director in The Last Airbender).
Here is Golden Globe nominee Bryce Dallas Howard in one of the most romantically restrained yet bursting moments onscreen from the film The Village. She plays blind villager Ivy Walker — a courageous and immoderate young woman who seizes life to the fullest.

It’s sad that Rachelle is leaving the franchise..Eclipse is Victoria’s last appearance. But I hope Bryce will be as fierce as Rachelle ‘coz she really did great as Victoria.

Oh my, you’re killing me lorna. That’s my favorite scene in The Village (which is by far the best M.Night movie for me. I fell in love with the language, the mood and Ivy and Lucius’love story ) and interestingly after watching it I could picture Rob playing Joaquin’s part. LOL. Maybe I’m just in a Robsten bubble.
I felt the same way (relieved despite saddened by Rachelle’s leaving) when I heard Bryce would play Victoria. I think it’ll be an interesting thing to watch out for her take on Victoria.

Many of us must be in total shock hearing this sad news..But it’s also good thing for Rachelle coz she’ll have a lot of films waiting in line..
I agree with Lorna. Bryce Dallas Howard is a very wise decision. I’ve seen her in The Village and As You like It. She’s excellent. I’ll miss you, Rachelle..

I like Rachel Lefevre and sad to see her go. plus she’s gorgeous and I love her hair, it all adds to her mystique. I hope Bryce will be good as Victoria.

I have watched her in some movies, and maybe she is talented but… but… for Victoria’s role? Her? No… she is too shy, not wild like Rachelle… so I think choosing her for Victoria’s role… is a big mistake.
I don’t hate Bryce… I simply think she is not “that girl” who can play Victoria…
