Please indulge me when I point out that one of the designers featured by InStyle to sketch the wedding gown of Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga : Breaking Dawn is fellow Filipina Monique Lhuillier
Monique Lhuillier is a New York based Filipina designer whose work among those tying the knot in Hollywood include the two wedding dresses of Britney Spears in her nuptials to Kevin Federline, Private Practice star Kate Walsh in her lace embellished gown, the flowing white dress of the bride of Kevin Costner, and the infamous “real” marriage of Heidi Montag to Spencer Pratt
InStyle invited designers such as Project Runway winner Christian Siriano and established well-known masters like Badgley Mischka and Max Azria to let their imaginations give birth to sketches based on the descriptions of Stephenie Meyer
In Eclipse, Bella’s dress is described as an early 1900s design (which complements her antique engagement ring) with friend and Maid of Honor Alice Cullen’s modern tweaks to the train and veil. “You look like you just stepped out of an Austen movie,” Bella’s mother says to the bride-to-be when she spies her in the gown in the final book, Breaking Dawn. “It’s gorgeous! So graceful, so elegant.”

my wedding dress was designed by Monique Lluillier. She makes beautiful dresses and i think she would create the perfect wedding dress for Bella.

When I first saw all of the sketches designers have drawn for Bella’s wedding dress, there was aboout eight or so, this was the one dress that caught my eye out of all of them and I personally think it’s the most gorgeous one.
I could very much imagine this particular dress for Bella, especially because it’s simple and vintage and just beaautiful all around

this is my favourite of all ten dresses ! it’s beautiful ! it fits bella swan perfectly, edward cullen is going to swoon !
p.s. : i suggest kristen use the same dress if she marries rob.

OMG, I’m not even kidding I had a dream a few nights ago and I was planning Edward and Bella’s wedding and seriously, I’m not even kidding the dress looked exactly like that!!! Alice was wearing all black (which doesn’t really seem like Alice) and Rosalie had pink nails. Thats like all I remember.

i liked this one too. its my fave from the 10 designs posted. its very traditional u know. something edward would like for bella to wear. or alice for that matter. hehe =)
and it would be cool if this one would be picked for the movie. bcoz it was made by a filipina, like me *wink* hehehe =)

Lol I looked at all the designs and yeah this one is the best. Not being biased ‘coz I’m a pinay but seriously this looks perfect for Bella/Kristen. And yeah it will make Edward/Rob go gaga

when i first saw the ten design for bella’s wedding gown i voted for monique and lela it’s perfect description of bella’s vintage gown with touch of alice creativity…mostly it fits kstew i’m excited to see kstew in a wedding gown with matching stilletos(not converse) atlest will see her in her transformation of becoming sophisticated as she become part of the cullen clan,remember the cullen’s are georgeous and sophisticated in their sense of style….
i wonder wht’s rob’s choice if someone’s going to him what he prefer for kstew(bella) to wear?that will be more chill…

This dress is absolutely breath-taking and it’s exactly how I imagined it. I hope I’ll get to see something like this on Bella (Kristin) in Breaking Dawn.

she designed my moms,sisters,3 of my cousins and my wedding dress and they all got compliments saying they were the most beautiful dresses they had ever seen i cannot wait to walk down the aisle in mine!!!only 3 more weeks!!!

This dress is the best one so far. It is alomst perfect. The only thing that is not right is the sleeves. Bella’s dress is supposed to have long sleeves. Everything else is pretty much right. Oh, and the train supposed to be longer, too.
