ATwilightKiss Receives A Summit Entertainment Email

As I announced in an earlier tweet, there was a surprise in my inbox on 18 August 2009 Manila Philippines time.
Got an email from Summit re the OFFICIAL Twilight conventions. Will post later. Or tom.
This particular email did not fill me with giddy joy the same way upon learning that ATwilightKiss was mentioned on MTV.com
Maybe a part of it is the somber realization that ATwilightKiss can’t go fly under the radar anymore. 
Of course, in some ways, this development is good, for it implies that ATwilightKiss has expanded its readership base enough to merit a request for publicity, which is always a welcome consideration, but…
There lies the crux of the matter, you see, there’s a but…
Gaahh! I’ll ponder and come up with something to satisfy my troubled mind regarding this double edged sword that might impale me. In the meantime, please expect a post expounding on the matter of the Official Twilight Conventions later.
Update: I’m sorry, but, I thought that I was clear in my post above that the Summit Entertainment email is merely a generic request for publicity for the Official Twilight Fan Conventions. That’s it. I was just thinking about the implications of this recent development. I’m sorry if you were expecting something more, for there is none. Thank you very much for your understanding, and, I apologize for any misapprehension I may have caused.

I’m guessing they don’t like the thoughtfully constructed arguments/speculations that you make. They feel thereatend and them paying attention on you means you’ve hit a lot of spots. This is Summit keeping things “straight” for their well beloved franchise since it actually brings in money. Hmp! If they ask you to pull down this site then s**** them! Summit’s moves are really getting in my nerves.

It’s a very important moment for you to have been contact by Summit but you are right in keeping yourself on high alert, i do have the feeling that they don’t like to see Robsten happening or people cheering for them. Well, since I don’t know what the big BUT is, I guess you have to decide whether it’s worth compromising the freedom of what and how YOU choose to share versus toeing the line or something similar?
I don’t think you’ve posted anything differently from when you began, unless you’re double and triple guessing every word you put in a post now because you have a bigger audience. (That’s normal, but again, you’ve always been careful to cross your Ts and dot your Is…and you’ve been politely receptive in admitting mistakes if commenters point out otherwise).
I think you’ve drawn traffic and notice because ATK *is* different–you focus on the romanticism and the what-iffism, but are careful to preface it all that it’s fiction, and at the end, you share links that gave you the ideas in the first place.
Since this is what drew me to the site to begin with…and probably why you DID it to begin with…I just have to say that I hope you don’t compromise that end of it for the sake of [fill in the blank].
In the end, YOU have to love what you’re doing. It has to be right with you, the writer of ATK.
