Using Reasonable Logic with Robsten I think a majority of ATwilightKiss readers have been attracted to the blog because of reasonable logic. For example, many have commented how the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart diaries seem real. I’d like to suppose that they do seem real because they are based on reasonable logic.
Robsten, which is synonymous with love and all that is grandiose and epic of its nature, requires reasonable logic to rein it in. For my physical health and sanity, I rein myself in within the strictures of reasonable logic. My character requires reasonable logic, or, I will be lost.
Using Reasonable Logic with Robsten Rumors In the past weeks, the Robsten world has been fraught with speculations and rumors that I personally find disturbing because reasonable logic seems to have been cast aside. Nevertheless, I maintain my reasonable logic and its consequent conclusions, and try to define it for my blog.
At this point, I would like to answer a question from ATK reader Stacey:
Lorna have you been living under a rock or something? something is finally happening in the Robsten romance and you post nothing about it? Have you been reading Ted’s awful truth at all?
The answer is ‘Yes,’ I have been reading it, since a lot of you have been kind enough to send the links through the comments. However, I cannot write anything from those particular posts because, in my opinion, they are written with the intent to titillate, and, most of what is written there has already been said in other blogs, albeit, E!, of course, is part of a legitimate entertainment news network, which heightens the credibility of the Robsten rumors. Nevertheless, I am unsatisfied with its legitimacy based on my reasonable logic.

You’ve probably guessed it. Yes, it is because of reasonable logic. These are the topics that I cannot find any reasonable logical basis, e.g. there are no verifiable facts such as pictures, actual statements made by the people concerned or their representatives, or they are against human rights, so, I have decided, for the moment, to exclude them from the comments section.

Assertions that Kristen has broken up with Michael
Assertions that Robert and Kristen are already on boyfriend-girlfriend status
Allegations that Summit Entertainment is attempting to control the personal lives of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart
ATwilightKiss Adopts Verifiable Claims Although my blog is not a news network, I’d like to adopt a reporter’s attitude that there must be proof of claims, because I do wish to be responsible and avoid being a site for unverified information and rumor mongering. It would be helpful for ATK readers to leave a link to their source of information so that I can decide whether it is reliable or not, in my opinion.
What Is Reasonably Logical To Me In response to a question posed by Unhinged, here was my comment.
“Thanks for asking the question, Unhinged. Basing it on her character, yes, I think Kristen is still telling herself that Rob and she are just friends and colleagues. Nothing more.
Subconsciously, she knows the truth, but she hasn’t admitted it to herself consciously. People do like to think a certain “truth” about themselves in order to exist or they’ll be driven to a certain level of “insanity.”
Kristen is a loyal and honest person. She will not cheat on her boyfriend.
Rob is also a loyal and honest person. He will not hook up with somebody who has a boyfriend.
These two will not get involved in an affair behind Michael’s back.
Kristen just strongly announced that she is still with Michael a few weeks ago, but, a lot of people choose to ignore it and believe their own truth. If it makes them happy and keeps their mental happiness also intact, then it’s better for them to do so.
I’m choosing to focus on just Rob and Kristen, who, I think, are two strong willed individuals who will not let their personal lives be dictated. They will listen to advice, but, will still do what they want, especially when it comes to the personal part, because that would be sacrosanct to them.”

you right Lorna sometimes people can take it a bit too far. I just think that we should just let life happen if it does great if not oh well the world has bigger and more important problems in it than ROBSTEN!! Sometimes I feel guilty because I waste my time on it as well, but I try to not to think of it anymore. Life is unexpected, and that is what makes it so hope driven at least for me in any situation.

Reasonable logic and common sense, absolutely. I’m totally with you on this, Lorna:

It astounds me the opinions some people have about Rob and Kristen. For all the time they’ve spent in the limelight for the past year, we DON’T know either of them. I remember Kristen saying in the interview between herself, Rob and Stephenie Meyer that she “didn’t feel she knew Rob that well”. This was her response when she was asked to describe him.
I read the Ted Casablanca posts with interest, but I’m sure he doesn’t know what’s going on. He can only guess, same as the rest of us. Only his guessing is done in a public forum in a way that feeds the crazy. Way too many commenters over there take his words as gospel and THAT is scary. Even worse, they want more and more and more. When is it going to end?

Thank you for the explanation Lorna. I kind of guessed this was your reason. It seems you are the only one with the firm grip on reality while the rest of us are swept away! LOL
I am trying to be good and maintain a no-confirmation-from-rob/kris means newsbit is just rumor and should be taken with a grain of salt.
It was just as well that I found this particularly interesting post about how Rob really becomes Edward (to Kristen’s Bella, in my dreams of course) .. and it just warmed my heart.

Lorna, I can accept your reasonable logic, too, but… but I think, we – who are reading this site, sending comments for your posts – are not hardcore R/K fans. I am reading another fansites, and I think, “Oh, Jesus… they are crazy…” and yes, they are, but we are not. We simply like them, I think.
And – it is important – we know that we don’t know them. We only see pictures and videos, and we have impressions, and opinion… but we are not hardcore fans, we are totally normal, aren’t we?

I’m one of the Robsten fan and really got hooked up spending the whole day reading all the endless comments at ted’s blog and I think I overdo it.. need to brace myself, seriously i have so much work to do..those reports… crap i might loss my job because of this.

Vic01, may I clarify that since I have Robsten related posts, there are hardcore Robsten fans who do pass by, and, I welcome their presence too.
However, my opinion differs from the majority regarding the latest events in Vancouver, and, frankly, it came to a point where I was dreading to moderate the comments, because I knew I would be “attacked,” and the fact that I have to edit out the above listed details from the comments, or delete certain comments altogether was just draining emotionally and physically.
To all who read this post, thank you very much for your understanding, cooperation and assistance.

I think most of the silent majority of the fans agree with you. too much speculation and tidbits meant to stir the pot as you mentioned “they are written with the intent to titillate” but without the proof. hang in there Lorna.

I don’t think you’re using “reasonable logic”. Why is it unreasonable to think that these two would get together? Kristen did not say just a few weeks ago, strongly, that she is with Michael. It was over a month ago. That’s a lot of time when you’re 19 and in a long-distance relationship. I’m just saying that, in my opinion, you’re not following the definition of reasonable logic. If what is rumored to be going on is actually going on, it is completely “possible and achievable”. And, btw, if it’s true it doesn’t mean that Kristen is not a loyal and good person. It would mean that her relationship ran its course. My impression of her has not changed, regardless.

I also want to say that I understand that you feel attacked by certain opinions. Given that you put out there things like the list of things Kristen should not do or people will say she’s in love with Robert… you can’t really be surprised that there are people who, now that they have rumors that they find believable to back up the obvious chemistry, think that Rob and Kristen might be together now. I think your best course would have been to say: If they’re together, great, if not, great. Would’ve saved you some grief, I think.

I’m agreeing with Anne. But I guess this is your site and you are entitled to post what you see is “reasonable”. I do enjoy your posts immensely, but to block others opinions simply because they do not fit in your “reasonable logic” is opinionated censorship. I do understand for you not wanting to post negative threads but many gossip threads have broken a lot of stories in the past. Also, for everyone who think that Robert and Kristen are so morally good that they would do no wrong or commit sin because of their attraction to one another, is very naive. I would want to think the best of these two characters, but I feel that they are being put on a pedalstool and idolized beyond common sense. I mean they both smoke, drink often, and do drugs. (KS and weed/RP and vicodin(plz don’t tell me he had a prescription for anxiety), RP admitting they called his old apt. in London a crack den). These two people are not that innocent as some of you are making them out to be. I’m not judging them by their recreational habits but I cannot think of them as perfect people who do not make mistakes. What attracts me to both of them is their chemistry and their personalities (the BAD and the GOOD).

Hi Lorna, when I use reasonable logic I totally agree with you. When I use my gut feelings the result is different and my experience taught me to trust my gut feelings more. Do you know the movie “Notting Hill” with Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. There are some very interesting scenes that my apply to Rob and Kris too…

I saw the pics of happy reunion between K/M today…I my mind, (sigh…) I don’t know what to think anymore, just all the chemistry & connections between R/K it’s seems such a waste to me. If there’s any truth in the rumors, well poor Rob (and I don’t blame KS!). Enough with this! now we all need to worry about farr more important things, like the economy & the swine flu.

I’m totally bored of the Robsten thing.I was one of those who hoped that they’ll be together,but after what happened last week with Rob’s denials and Kristen’s happy time with her bf.,i’m absolutely sure that nothing is going to happen between them ever.And i also think that all these pressure from fans and media has the opposite result.

I agree with Anne and Bellacullen. I do enjoy your stories that`s why I visit your site! I also understand that you don’t want any negative comments on your site but I don’t agree with your statement about “kris won’t cheat on her bf” yes she won`t cheat, she only flirts and give Rob mixed signals (vanity photoshoot? Japan? biting his neck? puttting her finger in his mouth then licks it?) How do you think Mike feels about that?
“Rob won’t steal a girl from her bf”. How do you know he hasn’t already? There are some speculationa out there that Kris and Mike broke up because he didn’t show up on her bday. And besides celebrities never say the truth about who they’re dating anyway. They always deny it so how do we know if Kris is not lying about her and Michael or about her and Rob? We don’t know these people. We only know them based on what we read about them.
And whether we like or not Summit Entertainment has some control to their personal lives to protect themselves. How do you explain the no photos of them taken together ever even though the paparazzis are all over them! Based on what fans are saying papz were present at Kris`hotel when they were spotted together taking the cab, at the club where Nikki`s friend performed, even in Japan at the karaoke bar! and yet not one photo ever surfaced on the net. We only see photos that are taken by the fans and of course Lainey. She`s the only one that`s posting these high quality photos . Why? because of Summit! Don`t be naive! This is Hollywood!
I really like Rob and Kris. What attracts me is not their on-screen chemistry but the off-screen. They are beautiful to look at. They glow whenever they are around each other. I wish Robsten will happen one day but by the looks of it, probably won`t survive long enough! Although we love happy endings sometimes it doesn`t end that way.

Lorna, I think our views are the same so I support your decisions to filter comments on your site.
I cannot help but squee whenever I see R/K together because the 2 absolutely have undeniable chemistry.
What is clear to me tho is that Kristen has, for the moment, chosen MA over Rob. It is beyond logical to me that anyone would think that MA will agree to participate in some elaborate cover-up of his ex-gf’s relationship with her co-star. No way. MA may currently be jobless, but I don’t think he’s that desperate. Hopefully, he still has savings from the work he did as a child actor and I read somewhere that his family has a dance school business. MA & KS are together. If the pics look staged, it’s simply because KS is so over-eager to shoot down the RP rumors and seriously, who can blame her? If you are in her position and she’s still with MA, would you be happy that ppl are insisting that you’re cavorting with your co-star? Of course not.
I am not saying that KS & MA are in a perfect relationship — I really think they don’t and I’m sure all these Rob rumors cause much stress. But I do believe they are together and that’s that.
Fortunately, I no longer see Kristen doing sweet stuff with Rob anymore. (Or that may be because we barely see them together.) I admit that when I would see clips of her being sweet to Rob during Twilight filming & promos (yet still insist that she was with her bf), I felt bad for Rob because it seemed like KS was sending him mixed signals. She liked him but she refused to leave her bf. Poor Rob fell hard for KS obviously – but I think they now have an understanding of how things are, and Rob has accepted that she’s with MA and I think he’s trying his best to move on. I’ve seen that since Japan & I continue to see that with the recent New Moon pics & clips.
The good news is we also see them continue to hang out together – prolly more like buddies & co-stars. Which is good for me, at least, they’re still friends & who knows what will happen in the future? But for now, if Kristen is with Michael, I do hope that Rob will soon find someone for himself as well … gosh, anyone but Nikki Reed.

I agree with starryrae.Wow,u got it all right.I also love Robsten not because of the movie but because of their off-screen chemistry.I love watching their vanity fair photo shoots and other fan made music videos about themTheir videotaped Twilight interviews clearly showed a strong attraction between them and it is basically these so called “chemistry” between them that makes me “hunger” for them to become a couple.However, I think they are better off as friends than a couple at least for now.They are young after all.This is just my opinion:it hurts more if they become a couple now then break up after a year or two-it’s Hollywood where “breakups” has become so normal between and among the stars so I guess Kstew does not want 2 lose RPattz’s friendship that’s why she restrained herself from falling all the way 4 RPatzz.A great frienship may be a great foundation 4 a long term relationship so maybe in the future then…..

Honestly,after reading the books I can say that I’m not a fan of Stephenie Meyer.No offense meant but I find the books as purely the “fantasy” of a high school girl.Of the 4 books,i find Eclipse repulsive in that how can u love two persons at the same time with such great intensity to the point that Bella wants if possible to live with both guys.I find this repulsive.Sorry,that’s me. I did read the books after watching the “sweetness” of KStew and RPattz 2 each other.It’s thier off screen chemistry that attracted me to follow their so called budding romance.But I’m not a hardcore fan of Robsten.In as much as I want them to be a couple at least…in the future..not now, I respect KStew’s choice to be with MA.After all,i believe it’s kinda hard 2 maintain a great romantic relationship with someone when that relationship is always the subject of public scrutiny(us included-always interpreting their actions and body language,hehehe).

I must admit that I was crushed when I saw the latest pictures of Kristen and Michael during a break in the filming of Mew Moon.How I wished I never saw the Robsten Vanity fair photo shoots of the two,thier interviews,etc.RPattz and Kstew unintentionally of course, caused me to stay late at night to watch their all of their videos,fan made included for one month already.I tried to follow all articles about them to the point that I became a “night owl.”(Gosh!I find this embarrasing at least for me.)Aside from Robsten, the other couple I’m so much interested in is Bragelina.But now since it appears that Kristen and Michael are still very much together, I think I should go back to my pre-Robsten days.I won’t watch anymore their videos which were made during the “Twilight days.”I think I’ll ignore New Moon video clips as well and just wait for the movie 2 come out in theaters.I guess you nay call this the “Robsten withdrawal syndrome.”hehehe.Hope I can forget about them at least for now until there would be a change in their relationship…..hmmmm..still hoping?Gosh!Don’t know..

I don’t think Rob and Kristen are seeing each other — yet. It’s evident that they are attracted to each other, no matter how many times Kristen denies it. Frankly, I think Rob has to mature to win Kristen. He seems to be an extremely immature man. If he grows up during the breaks between filming the four movies, he’ll have a chance. And what a beautiful couple they would be!

FYI, Life&Style magazine is reporting that K. Stew and RPatzz are over. But WTF? WTH? I dnt believe it. Thet give you proof through sources and witnesses but who would be dumb enough to believe these sources and witnesses? It can be scrutinized and lied abt. Ugh! I bet Rob and Kristen are calling all these hook-up rumors ridiculous.
