Robert Pattinson Uncomfortable with Naked Models Robert Pattinson has been quoted regarding his discomfort during the Details Magazine shoot.
Robert On His Sexy Details Shoot: “I really hate vaginas. I’m allergic to vaginas. But I can’t say I had no idea, because it was a 12-hour shoot, so you kind of get the picture that these women are going to stay naked after, like, five or six hours… Thank God I was hungover….
“This shoot, it’s kind of ’80s nakedness, you know?” he said. “If you look at porn in, like, the ’80s, there was something kind of quaint about it, quite sweet – like this little naked community.”

@ JoanJettRox: Lol, actually for the first time I’m stumped.
I’d just like to say that Rob’s whole comment of vaginas was put WAY out of context. It pisses me off that people started calling him gay and that people (women, in particular, who ‘used to be’ fans of Rob) were greatly offended by his comment. I remember people talking about it on my local radio station the day the interview came out. People took it too seriously, when in actuality it’s a British joke.
A man goes to the doctor.
Says: DOCTOR! DOCTOR! I hate vaginas. I think I am allergic to them.
Doctor: Why do you think that sir?
Man: Because every time I am near them, I get terribly swollen and need to rub.
He was clearly joking. God, I love Rob (:

I agree with Irene. Too bad some fans felt offended, they clearly do not know rob..he’s always joking and being sarcastic in interviews.
And I loved the shoot. Rob looks so great and that cover makes me melt

I get he was trying to be funny. He should learn how to do interviews in the future. The naked women were weird, is he trying to get male fans? Using women as objects is offputting to me. This message is not lost on young girls.

@ Irene…I agree with you. People should know by now, that Robert has a great sense of humor, but apparently is just for smart people to get…cuz he keeps bein misunderstood.
I love him of course. And this shoot I loved it too, cuz it finally portray him as the sexy badass sex symbol he really is (wink) Of course we all know that he’s more than a pretty face.
I hope Kristen made him grovel in apology, and that they have awesome sex afterwards…;)

I didn’t like this photo shoot/interview…not because of Robsten.I just don’t like the whole concept with the naked models and Rob standing there like he doesn’t care.Sex is everywhere nowadays and the result of this photo shoot is not artistic at all,it is so not Rob,the clothes,the attitude.I think it has to do with the character he plays in Bel Ami.

Irene: You are absolutely right. What I meant to say was he doesn’t have to sell his integrity out for a movie career. When you do a photo shoot you are putting an image out there of yourself as a person. If Taylor Lautner did a shoot with naked women I would feel the same way.

Let us just respect Rob’s decision in doing the photoshoot. I’m sure it’s for a reason. I’m sure he didn’t take this decision lightly.
Sometimes, its better to see Rob in vids for interviews coz we can see his delivery and all his antics that doesn’t make it vulgar but when when relayed by another party, the essence of Rob’s quotes are lost.
In the future Rob should have the final say what & how his interviews are printed so as to convey his intentions and not taken out of context and sensationalize his words.

almost forgot: he gives the hint in this show-i can’t remember the name but, anyway-you should see it in youtube. just type, “Robert Pattinson Confirming Robsten” (the EXACT same words). you should really see it. the end is funny.
