Hi Betty. I tool CPR with the Philippine National Red Cross three times and this was the information given to us. You may withdraw from a Red Cross branch, not necessarily your own blood, but, any blood that is of equal or lesser amount as the one you deposited. It can be for you, a family member, a friend, etc.

some of the information above is wrong – you cannot withdraw your blood from a bank when there is an emergency. This is very misleading! Please donate blood as often as possible to help people in hospitals who need it. Hopefully others will do the same for you when you need it. Props to Kristen for supporing the Red Cross!

She is just an angel. So young and she already is a member of Red Cross. Love her more.

Btw, I would love to donate blood but I’m too underweight so I can’t . I was gonna donate blood when they went to my school, but was informed that underweight (under 50 kgs) can’t donate blood.

If only Rob can go out there and encourage millions of his young fans and says.
“Okay, peeps, don’t shed your blood for me, donate it.” Red Cross would probably have enough blood supply for decades.

I think that is great, any person eligible to should give blood. I give on a regular basis… even though my blood type is pretty common. It really is the gift of life….. Who knows…. one day it may be your life in need of that gift!
