48 Hours from Advance Release of Twilight DVD in the Philippines

Twilight Cast

If I go to the mall by 10am on 20 March 2009, I am now approximately 48 hours (with the added time zone factor since I live in Asia) away from having the DVD copy of Twilight.

I have no idea why it’s scheduled a day earlier in my country, the Philippines, but, I’m not complaining.

I restrained myself from listening to the audio commentary that got leaked on You Tube, because, once I hear it, I will most likely not buy the DVD, since it’s the commentary and deleted scenes that are making me excited to get it.

Since the deleted scenes have been released by Access Hollywood, then, it’s just the audio commentary to really look forward to.

In an interview with Larry Carroll of MTV, Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke revealed that they had the “giggle” version, “[Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart and I] were, like, ‘Is this the lamest commentary ever?’ We were just laughing! I was thinking, ‘Should we do something really serious with myself and the stunt guy and special-effects people and show aspiring filmmakers how we did those special effects?’ But nope. We did the giggle version. [Rob and Kristen were] remembering the funny stuff that happened and the crazy stuff. They make fun of how they look in the movie.”
